Interior solar control films
Temperature reduction
→ prevent overheating in summer and reduce indoor temperature by up to 8°C even without air conditioning
Energy savings
→ reduce your cooling and heating costs thanks to improved thermal insulation
Better working comfort
→ reduce excessive glare and create a more comfortable working environment for employees
UV protection
→ protect office interiors from fading, films block up to 99.9% of UV rays
Increased privacy
→ limit visibility from the outside and provide greater privacy for employees
Interior solar window films are designed for installation on the inside of the glass. For multi-pane glazing (double or triple glazing), it is important to choose films with lower heat absorption. Since interior films are installed on the inside, installation is not affected by season or weather conditions.
Interior solar films absorb and reflect sunlight before it can fully pass through the glass into the interior. In summer, they reduce air conditioning costs, act as passive cooling, and help prevent overheating. In winter, they reflect heat back into the room, helping to reduce heating costs. Interior solar films work all year round.
Window films improve the quality of the working environment, reduce visibility from the outside, and limit fading of interior materials, while maintaining maximum transparency from the inside.
They also help hold shattered glass together in case of breakage, reducing the risk of injury. Even after a strong impact, the glass may crack, but it remains in place within the frame thanks to the film, preventing dangerous shards from falling.
Benefits of interior solar window films
- reduced indoor temperature during summer
- lower air conditioning costs
- reduced heating costs
- improved working conditions
- enhanced building appearance
- reduced visibility from the outside
- up to 80% solar energy rejection
- blocks up to 99.9% of harmful UV rays
- additional protection against glass breakage and break-ins
Installation and maintenance
- installed on the inside of the glass
- glass must have a smooth surface and be at least 3 mm thick
- glass removal is not required
- installation is possible even in winter or during bad weather (rain, strong wind)
- not suitable for uneven or “artificial” materials such as polycarbonate, acrylic, wired glass, etc.
- cleaning is the same as for standard windows – water, mild detergents, soft cloths, paper towels, or squeegees
- avoid solvents, aggressive cleaning agents (especially those containing ammonia or abrasives), and sharp or hard objects
